Lucknow, May 29 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is anti-youth and jobs and employment are not on its agenda.
In a statement issued here, Akhilesh said that the BJP had once promised to provide two crore jobs to the youth every year. "Even after running the government for 11 years at the centre and 8 years in the state, the BJP could not provide 2 crore more jobs to the youth in its entire tenure. The BJP has deceived the youth emotionally by showing them dreams and is still not refraining from deceiving and lying to the youth," he said.
He said that by not conducting D.El.Ed recruitment for seven years, the BJP government has proved that primary education is not its priority. "The truth is that the BJP has proved to be a complete failure on basic fronts like education, health, jobs, and employment. Overall, the BJP is a failed government," he said.
The SP Chief said that recently, the BJP government left a false promise of 1.93 lakh teacher recruitment to lakhs of youth. "It was posted from the government's social media account. After some time, it was removed. This is the working style of the BJP. This government has a history of playing with public sentiments," he said.
