Coaches hug as Ancelotti greets Indian media with “Namaste”

By Sirshendu Panth
Kolkata, Oct 2 (UNI) There was a visible show of bonhomie between the Indian and Brazilian soccer teams on Friday, on the eve of their FIFA International Friendly at the Yuva Bharati Stadium here.
The Brazilian team, the first to hold the customary match-eve press conference, was about to wrap up when Indian coach Khalid Jamil entered the hall.
After Brazilian head coach Carlo Ancelotti rose from his chair to leave, he met Jamil. The two coaches warmly hugged and exchanged a few words.
Later, Jamil said, “We wished each other the best of luck. And he (Ancelotti) said he will talk (to me) after the game.”
Ancelotti, who expressed his happiness at the warm welcome extended to his side, also acknowledged the great love for the Selecao and football in this part of India.
In fact, the redoubtable Italian manager struck a chord with the Indian media by greeting them with “Namaste”.
