Cong, SP with land mafias, not with poor Muslims: Arun Singh

Mirzapur (UP), Apr 5 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Arun Singh on Saturday attacked the opposition and said that all parties, including Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) are not with the poor Muslims but with the land mafia.
After inaugurating the party's week-long programme on the foundation day of the BJP by performing Puja, Singh said, "After the Waqf Bill is passed in both the houses, now the government will work for the poor and backward Muslims by freeing the land from the clutches of the mafia."
He said that the opposition parties are spreading confusion in the Muslim community. "However, their plans will not be thwarted," he said.
The National General Secretary said that this is not new for the opposition parties. "Whenever any big changes are made by the Modi government, they leave no stone unturned in spreading confusion. Be it the CCA Bill or Section 370, but now the Muslim community is understanding everything," he said.
He said that after the current Waqf Bill is passed, poor Muslims will get their benefit, which were being taken by some mafia people till now, and everyone will also get representation. Before this, he sought the blessings of the presiding deity of the Vindhya region, Maa Vindhyavasini Devi, by visiting her.
Singh said that from April 6, workers will visit every house. "They will tell about the achievements of the BJP in every village," he said.
