Bhubaneswar, June 29 (UNI) The election process for the Odisha state BJP president and National Council members began today.
The three-day election process will conclude by July 1, according to State Election Officer and MP Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi.
He stated that Bihar MP Sanjay Jaiswal has been appointed as an observer by the Central Election Officer to oversee and supervise the election process.
Jaiswal will visit Odisha after the official election notification is issued.
It is worth noting that the organizational election process of the Bharatiya Janata Party is held once every three years.
As with previous elections, the ongoing "Organizational Election 2024" will commence at the local level and culminate in the election of the National President.
In the meantime, the elections for the local, mandal, and district committees of the BJP have already been completed, party sources said.
