First look of Yash from Namit Malhotra's 'Ramayana' is out

Mumbai, May 29 (UNI) The first image of Rocking Star Yash has surfaced from the sets of producer Namit Malhotra cinematic opus "Ramayana", offering a riveting look at his portrayal of the legendary antagonist, Ravana.
Poised to redefine the scale of Indian mythological storytelling, "Ramayana" is poised to become one of Indian cinema's most ambitious undertakings. As Yash, who also serves as co-producer, steps into the shoe of the formidable Ravana, excitement surrounding the project has reached new heights.
This magnum opus is being produced by Namit Malhotra under the banner of Prime Focus Studios, in collaboration with Yash's Mother Mind Creations.
Rocking Star Yash will be seen bringing the character of Raavan alive in Ramayana. This time, Yash, along with the team, is creating a visual spectacle that will cross the limits of action cinema and is expected to devote around 60 to 70 days of shooting for the first installment.
Recent behind-the-scenes images depict Yash in an awe-inspiring physical transformation, tailored specifically to embody a reimagined, commanding version of Ravana.
"Ramayana Part 1" is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026, while the second part to follow in Diwali 2027.
