Forest fire rages in Dhouleta hills in Rajasthan

Bharatpur, May 21 (UNI) A massive forest fire that broke out on Tuesday in the Dhouleta hills of Karauli district of Rajasthan continued to rage out of control for the second day, causing concern among devotees and wildlife enthusiasts.

Forest department sources advised nearby residents to move to safe locations. The fire spread rapidly across the hill, and the department's team, along with fire tenders from Karauli and Hindaun City, is making efforts to control the blaze with the help of locals.

The fire has caused significant damage to the environment and destroyed a large number of trees and plants in the richly vegetated hill area.

The district administration and forest department are working to bring the situation under control. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
