High quality technology for film post-production to be set up in Kolhapur Chitranagari: Ashish Shelar

Kolhapur, June 28 (UNI) State's Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar today announced that high quality technology for film post-production will be set up in Kolhapur Chitranagiri in the coming days.
Shelar, while inaugurating various buildings required for filming in Kolhapur Chitranagiri and the foundation stone of two-storey building required for post production, said that there were many challenges of artistry, creativity and technology of film production and there was a demand for this technology all over the world.
On this occasion, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare and Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar, MP Dhananjay Mahadik, MLA Amal Mahadik, MLA Rahul Awade, Managing Director of Chitranagari Vibhishan Chavare, office bearers of Morewadi Gram Panchayat, office bearers of various organizations in the film and theater sector in Kolhapur, artists, technicians and citizens were present in large numbers.
Shelar said, "In this very city of cinema, in collaboration with Film and Television Institute (FTI), we will start training the youth of Maharashtra including Kolhapur in film business, technology and audio-video. And this film education system will start this year. "
He also said that the artists born in Kolhapur and who came to Kolhapur and worked for Marathi cinema have enriched the tradition of Marathi cinema, and announced the establishment of an artistic gallery (museum) of such artists at this place.
