Himachal BJP MP Kashyap retained on parliamentary Finance Committee

Shimla, October 3 (UNI) BJP MP from Shimla parliamentary constituency Suresh Kumar Kashyap has been given responsibility again as a member of the Lok Sabha’s important Committee on Finance.
Kashyap expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and union Home Minister Amit Shah for entrusting him with the responsibility again.
Kashyap said that getting an opportunity to work again in an important parliamentary committee like the Finance Committee was a matter of honour as well as a major responsibility for him.

Punjab milk under cloud in Panchkula: DC leads surprise crackdown, sends samples for lab tests

Panchkula, Oct 6 (UNI) The Panchkula administration on Tuesday put milk supplies originating from neighbouring Punjab under the scanner after receiving complaints of suspected adulteration, with Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma personally intercepting vehicles and ordering immediate laboratory testing of samples.
The surprise operation was carried out in Mankya village near Ramgarh, a key entry point for milk entering the district.
