IT fraternity’s arts and lit fest awards given away

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 26 (UNI) The 11th edition of ‘Srishti,’ the biggest arts and literature festival of the IT community in Kerala, turned out to be an exciting platform for IT employees across the state to showcase their creative talents, besides scripting success in their artistic endeavours.
Organised by Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees in Kerala, the award ceremony of the literary festival was held at Technopark here last evening.
Malayalam Mission Director, poet and lyricist Murukan Kattakkada presented the awards to the winners.
Lauding Prathidhwani for organising the annual event, Murukan said it was heartening to see techies participating in a literary fest by taking time out from their hectic work schedules.
He also released the novel ‘Antharyami’, authored by Jaidev Chandrasekharan from UST, and a collection of poems by Rugmini, daughter of IT employee Deepthi (Speridian), on the occasion.

Murukan recited his poems ‘Renuka’ and ‘Paka,’ besides a few lines from the poems of yesteryear poet Changampuzha Krishna Pillai along with techies. Jury Member Jacob Abraham was also present.
Nesin Sreekumar, Convenor, Literary Club, Prathidhwani, presided over the function. Ms Meera MS, General Convenor, Srishti, welcomed the gathering.
Vishnu Rajendran, President, Prathidhwani; Ms Bismitha, Joint Convenor, Srishti; Rajeev Krishnan, State Convenor, Prathidhwani; Ms Anju David, Executive Member; Ms Raji Chandrika, Website Convenor, Srishti; and Sinu Jamal, Website Architect, were also present.
The winners were selected by a Jury, chaired by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Member Ms VS Bindu, and novelist Jacob Abraham, poet Gopikrishnan Kottoor, Ms A G Oleena and Ms Sajini S as Members.
More than 300 creative works were received from around 200 from IT employees working in Kerala.

AP’s Space Policy 4 0 targets Rs 25,000 Cr investment
