Kerala: Three kids drown in pond at Kalladikode

Palakkad (Kerala), Apr 29 (UNI) Three kids, aged below ten, from a tribal family were drowned in a pond while bathing at Kalladikode village in this district, on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased were identified as siblings Pradeep (7) and Pradeesh (4), son of Prakash and Anitha of Thudikode, and Prakash's sister daughter Radhika (6).

Three of them were missing from the evening while playing at their house and as part of a search operation conducted by relatives and local residents, they found the bodies in a pond, located nearby their house at Thudikode around 1700 hours.

They rushed the bodies to the district hospital at Palakkad, but doctors declared them brought dead.

The bodies were kept at district hospital for post-mortem, police added.
