Kishan Reddy rejects Telangana CM Revanth’s allegations over US visit

New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday rejected Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s allegations that the Centre had obstructed his proposed US visit, saying foreign tours by Chief Ministers and union Ministers were cleared only after following established protocols and considering national interests.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Kishan Reddy said the regulations governing foreign visits had been in place since Independence and were not introduced by the Narendra Modi government.
He said Revanth Reddy should have obtained all necessary clearances before proceeding with his proposed travel to the US.
