Kishan Reddy watches Mann Ki Baat with residents; calls for unanimous BJP state president election

Hyderabad, June 29 (UNI) Union Minister and BJP Telangana Chief G Kishan Reddy today participated in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme viewing along with

local residents at Moti Nagar in the Jubilee Hills constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that the notification for the BJP Telangana state president's post would be issued this evening, and nominations will be accepted tomorrow in the presence of senior party leaders Sunil Bansal and Shobha Karandlaje, who are arriving in the state.

He further informed that the new state president will be announced on July 1, and stressed that the election should be unanimous to reflect party unity.

Taking aim at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Union Minister said, "Revanth is speaking without proper understanding. We are not working for him or for the Congress party, but solely for the

people of Telangana."

Reddy also announced the inauguration of the Turmeric Board in Nizamabad by Union Home Minister Amit Shah today. He reiterated the party’s commitment to addressing people’s issues.

On the infrastructure front, he revealed that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Hyderabad Metro expansion had been submitted to the Centre last week, and that the Central government is currently examining its feasibility.
