Laxman Singh expelled from Cong for six years over anti-party activities

New Delhi, June 11 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday expelled former Madhya Pradesh MLA Laxman Singh for six years.



A statement released by AICC General Secretary Tariq Anwar said that, Laxman Singh was expelled with immediate effect due to anti-party activities.



"Hon'ble Congress President has expelled Shri Laxman Singh, former MLA, Madhya Pradesh, from the primary membership of the Indian national Congress for a period of six years, with immediate effect, due to his anti-party activities," the statement said.
