Maha: Renowned artistes Suvarna Mategaonkar, Nilesh Parab honoured with Babulal Data Kala Gaurav Award

Pune, Apr 17 (UNI) Renowned singer Suvarna Mategaonkar and percussionist Nilesh Parab were honoured with the Babulal Data Kala Gaurav Award 2025.
The award, initiated by Prashant Data, director of Babuj Lakshminarayan Chiwada, aims to recognise and appreciate artistes' contributions.
The award ceremony was part of the 'Melodious Mangeshkars' programme held at the MES auditorium here.
Shrinivas Joshi, veteran classical vocalist and president of Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, presented the awards to Suvarna Mategaonkar and Nilesh Parab.
Prashant Data and Parag Mategaonkar were also present on the occasion.
The programme 'Melodious Mangeshkars', which celebrated the legacy of the Mangeshkar family, drew a large audience of music enthusiasts.
The event featured performances by Suvarna Mategaonkar and Sandeep Ubale, while Parag Mategaonkar shared stories about the Mangeshkar family.
