Maha: Sadhu Vaswani Mission commemorates 92 years of Mira movement in education

Pune, June 4 (UNI) Inspiring Satsangs on Wednesday commemorated 92 years of Mira movement of education, that was started by Sadhu Vaswani.
Three satsangs at dawn, noon and evening marked the celebrations.
At the break of dawn, satsang was held commemorating the time at which Sadhu Vaswani started the movement in 1933. The satsang included readings from the sacred scripture of Sadhu Vaswani—the Nuri Granth and recitations from the writings of saints—Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram, Shah Abdul Latif, and Jesus, echoing the timeless call to live and spread the light in the world, said a release here.
The noon and evening satsangs were marked by gathering of students, teachers, and devotees.
Dr Manju Nichani, director of Sadhu Vaswani Schools, in her address, described June four as a landmark day in the history of Indian education.
She reaffirmed Sadhu Vaswani’s ideal that education should go beyond academics — shaping hearts, not just minds.
