Maharana Pratap's life to inspire future generations: Rajasthan Speaker

Jaipur, May 28 (UNI) Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Wednesday extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Maharana Pratap's birth anniversary, saying that the great national hero's life will continue to guide future generations on the path of patriotism, self-respect and hard work.

Devnani said that Maharana Pratap is a epoch-making figure in Indian history who fought tirelessly to defend his motherland and never bowed down to injustice. His bravery, self-respect, and sacrifice are a source of inspiration for all.

He urged the people to take a pledge to remain dedicated to the nation's interests in memory of Maharana Pratap.
He called upon the people to adopt the life values of Maharana Pratap and contribute actively to nation-building.

The Rajasthan Speaker highlighted the changes he introduced in the curriculum of Rajasthan's schools to highlight the state's and country's glorious history and instill a sense of nationality among students.

Devnani said that instead of portraying Mughal emperor Akbar as 'great', Maharana Pratap was included as a 'great' figure in school curricula to connect students with Rajasthan's glorious history and develop patriotism.
