Minor girl on way to Pandharpur raped by unknown persons in Daund

Pune, June 30 (UNI) In a shocking incident, devotees going to Pandharpur for the Ashadhi Wari Warkari religious festival were looted while a minor girl accompanying the devotees was raped near Swami Chincholi village in Daund taluka.
Police said today that a few Warkari (devotees) stopped for tea on the way yesterday. Suddenly two people came in a car and robbed the Warkari by threatening them at knife point.
After looting the devotees, the two accused took the minor girl to a distance and raped her.
The police are investigating the case and are looking for the unknown suspects.
