FEG inaugurates Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, commits €12 million investment in India

Hyderabad, May 21 (UNI) Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) has inaugurated a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in HITEC City, Hyderabad, marking a significant expansion of its technology operations in India.
The facility will enhance the company’s global digital capabilities across artificial intelligence, data engineering, analytics, and product development, reinforcing Hyderabad’s growing position as a global technology hub.
The new 120-seater facility will become FEG’s third-largest technology hub globally after Prague in the Czech Republic and Split in Croatia, the company said in a release here.
FEG also announced a commitment to invest €12 million in India over the next five years as part of its long-term expansion strategy.
The inauguration was attended by FEG’s senior global leadership, including Dieter John, Group CEO; Sotiris Haritos, Group CTO; and Iain Child, Managing Partner at Penta Investments, the owner of FEG.
According to the company, the Hyderabad centre will serve as a strategic technology and innovation hub supporting FEG’s omnichannel betting and gaming operations across multiple European markets.
The GCC will focus on advanced analytics, machine learning, software engineering, automation, IT monitoring and customer experience optimisation.
The expansion forms part of FEG’s broader “FEG 2.0” strategy and its “Fortuna Fit for Future” (F4) transformation programme aimed at building scalable, technology-driven and data-led capabilities for long-term growth.
Dieter John said Hyderabad had evolved into a strategic capability hub for FEG due to its strong engineering talent and expertise in AI, analytics and digital technologies.
Sotiris Haritos said the Hyderabad GCC would play a major role in developing future-focused digital platforms powered by AI and data intelligence, contributing directly to product innovation and intelligent automation.
FEG India Solutions Managing Director Avinash Gupta said the India operations had evolved into a high-impact technology hub deeply integrated with FEG’s global strategy.
Iain Child said India’s strong technology ecosystem and skilled workforce made it an ideal destination for long-term strategic investments.
