USBRL Project: Historic milestone for J&K, says Jammu ICC Chairman, hails PM Modi

Jammu, June 5 (UNI) Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Jammu, Rahul Sahai on Thursday hailed the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the much-awaited train service to Kashmir terming it a moment that marks a historic turning point in the development journey of Jammu and Kashmir.
Calling it a “landmark day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir,” Sahai, in a handout issued here, applauded the Prime Minister for completing one of the most challenging and strategically significant infrastructure projects in the country.
“The completion of this long-pending railway line is nothing short of a civil engineering marvel. The dedication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to connect the Kashmir Valley with the rest of India through rail is a testament to his unwavering commitment to national integration, inclusive development, and regional connectivity,” said Sahai.
He further added, “The Jammu-Kashmir train will be a game-changer for the regional economy. It will open up new avenues for trade, tourism, logistics, and industrial linkages.”
