Dy CM Bhatti Vikramarka invites investors to Telangana, assures government support

Hyderabad, Oct 15 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday invited entrepreneurs from across the world to invest in the state, assuring them of government support through single-window clearances and the provision of land, power and water for industries.
Addressing the Samakhya Chamber of Commerce Global Business Meet–2026 at HITEX here, he said Hyderabad offered a favourable environment for investment, supported by infrastructure, law and order, a skilled workforce and a multicultural atmosphere.
“I will act as a guardian for entrepreneurs,” he said, assuring the Samakhya Chamber of Commerce and its members of assistance in addressing challenges faced in establishing industries.
Bhatti said the government was working to attract investments through a planned regional development strategy covering the Core Urban Region (CORE), Peri-Urban Region (PURE) and Rural Agricultural Region (RARE).
Under the plan, the Core Urban Region would focus on information technology, infrastructure and services, while specialised industrial clusters would be developed in the Peri-Urban Region. The Rural Agricultural Region would focus on promoting agro-based industries, he said.
He said the government had initiated approval and design processes for 21 radial roads to improve connectivity between the Outer Ring Road and the proposed Regional Ring Road. The improved connectivity would facilitate the development of industrial clusters in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, education, software and artificial intelligence.
Emphasising the role of entrepreneurs in wealth creation, the Deputy Chief Minister said agriculture accounted for around 16 per cent of Telangana's Gross State Domestic Product, while the services sector contributed approximately 65 per cent.
He called on businesses in pharmaceuticals, core industries, aquaculture, trade, information technology and industrial infrastructure to contribute to the state's economic growth.
He said industrial development should generate employment, attract investments and strengthen government revenues. Entrepreneurs should also share their experience and knowledge with aspiring business owners to ensure that the benefits of development reached all sections of society.
Bhatti assured investors that the state government, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, would extend support to facilitate industrial development and address issues raised by entrepreneurs.
Calling for inclusive growth, he said development should not remain confined to a few sections of society.
He urged entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, create jobs and become partners in Telangana's economic progress.
