For its effective implementation, the GCC Implementation Manual-2025 was also issued on January 7, 2026. In this context, the proposals of the four industrial units were discussed in a meeting of the high-level empowered committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, held on July 10, 2026. Now, with the Cabinet's approval, the path has been paved for the issuance of Letters of Comfort to these units.
GCCs are hubs where multinational and large companies conduct technology development, research, financial services, digital operations, engineering, and other global business functions. The expansion of these hubs is expected to create new investment opportunities in the state, increase employment opportunities for skilled youth, and strengthen Uttar Pradesh's presence in the global business services sector.
