Lohia Aerospace puts Indian composites on global map

New Delhi/Kanpur, June 25 (UNI) Lohia Aerospace Systems (LAS), a key Indian aerospace and defence manufacturing company, marked a significant presence at the Paris Air Show 2025, held at Le Bourget, by showcasing the country's growing prowess in composite manufacturing.
As the only Indian composite manufacturer to exhibit at the prestigious global event, LAS drew global attention with its advanced civil and defence aerospace solutions. The company’s display of lightweight aerostructures, composite assemblies, and UAV sub-systems highlighted India’s capabilities in precision engineering and export-ready aerospace components, a release said
LAS held strategic meetings with several global Original Equipment Manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. Notably, it entered advanced-stage talks with a major aerospace OEM for next-gen aircraft interior structures, and is also progressing on plans to indigenise helicopter structural components for leading defence programmes. In a boost to its global ambitions, LAS also explored collaborations with an American Tier 1 supplier to jointly bid for civil and defence contracts in the US.
Renewal of long-term contracts with existing customers further underscored LAS’s reputation for quality and reliability.
“The Paris Air Show was a very productive event for us,” said Anurag Lohia, CEO, Lohia Aerospace Systems. “We were proud to represent India as the only composites manufacturer exhibiting, and to demonstrate how far India has come in delivering world-class aerospace solutions.”
The company’s participation at the show reinforces India’s momentum toward self-reliance in defence manufacturing and its increasing footprint in the global aerospace supply chain.
