T-Hub launches Flashpoint venture studio, invites applications for agri-tech, space-tech tracks

Hyderabad, Sept 30 (UNI) T-Hub on Wednesday launched Flashpoint, a venture studio to help entrepreneurs build startups around industry-identified problems, with applications invited for its inaugural agri-tech and space-tech tracks.
The initiative will bring together founders, industry partners and experienced operators to develop solutions to specific industry challenges, the Hyderabad based T-Hub said in a release here.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive mentorship, access to laboratories, testing facilities and established supply chains, along with support from T-Hub's network of investors and industry experts, without any equity dilution.
T-Hub, which has supported more than 3,300 startups, said the initiative aims to address early-stage challenges faced by founders, including identifying viable business problems, accessing industry expertise and validating market demand.
The studio has partnered with Kheyti, an agri-tech company known for its climate-resilient farming solutions for smallholder farmers, and Dhruva Space, a space infrastructure provider, to launch the two tracks, it said.
Under the agri-tech track, selected founders will join Kheyti as Entrepreneurs-in-Residence and receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1 lakh, sponsored pilot projects and access to 8,000 greenhouse farmers from the first week.
The space-tech track will provide founders access to Dhruva Space's engineering infrastructure, including cleanrooms, thermal-vacuum and vibration testing facilities, and ground stations, to develop and validate their technologies.
Applications are open for both tracks through T-Hub's website.
The organisation has also invited industry players to partner with the venture studio and introduce additional tracks across sectors.
Kavikrut, CEO of T-Hub, said Flashpoint would offer entrepreneurs industry-validated problems, experienced operators and access to the resources and networks required to build their ventures.
Kaushik Kappagantulu, co-founder and CEO of Kheyti, said the partnership marked a return to T-Hub, where the company began its journey in 2015.
He said Kheyti would support emerging agri-tech entrepreneurs while advancing its goal of helping smallholder farmers adopt climate-smart farming practices.
Sanjay Nekkanti, co-founder and CEO of Dhruva Space, said India's expanding space sector would create opportunities for indigenous technologies across satellites, launch systems, components, software, data and services.
He added that emerging space infrastructure, including the planned Bharatiya Antariksh Space Station, could create opportunities for startups developing technologies for in-orbit operations, servicing and research.
