The undertaking would require Imran to refrain from participating in protests in the future.According to Memon, the court has also asked Imran to tender an "unconditional apology" concerning any statements he may have made unintentionally about the protests or against the government. The proposed apology would cover remarks, if any, made through his social media account or to the media.Memon explained that the apology should convey Imran's regret if he had inadvertently made such statements. The lawyer maintained that his client had no intention of participating in protests and reiterated that he had never been affiliated or associated with any political party, agency or group involved in organising or conducting them. The lawyer's statement also clarified the defence's position that Imran had neither intended to join protest activities nor maintained links with organisations responsible for conducting such demonstrations.Meanwhile, the court has directed the state government to file its reply in the matter. A decision will be taken after the state's response is submitted and considered by the court. The next hearing has been scheduled for December 7. Until then, the notice directing Imran to leave India will remain stayed, providing interim relief while the proceedings continue.UNI AAA AABTags: #Bombay HC seeks apology and undertaking from Imran Khan# next hearing on Dec 7
