States » East » CAEPosted at: Oct 6 2026 7:26PM Door-to-door voter survey from Oct 26 for 2027 Odisha panchayat, civic pollsBhubaneswar, Oct 6 (UNI) The Odisha State Election Commission has launched preparations for an updated electoral roll for the 2027 local elections, with a house-to-house survey scheduled to begin on October 26 to verify voter details and remove discrepancies.State Election Commissioner Madhusudan Padhi held a meeting with representatives of recognised political parties on Tuesday to discuss the preparation of the electoral rolls for the upcoming elections.The survey will verify voter details and facilitate the inclusion of eligible voters while identifying names of ineligible, deceased or shifted voters for necessary action.
