Nitish announces Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia each for kin of lightning strike victim

Patna, Apr 9 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed to pay ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh each for kin of 13 lightning strike victim in the state.
Expressing deep sorrow over the death of 13 in the lightning incident, Kumar instructed the authorities to pay the ex-gratia amount immediately bereaved families. He also appealed to the people to follow the instructions of the disaster management department and remain alert during inclement weather.
13 people were killed in three lightning incidents on Wednesday, including five in Begusarai, four in Darbhanga, three in Madhubani, and one in Samastipur.
