Drug seized at Manipur's Kangpokpi

Imphal, June 6 (UNI) Security forces intercepted a four-wheeler near Daili village along NH-2 under Kangpokpi-PS, Kangpokpi district on Thursday and recovered a narcotic drug, police said.
The police said upon thorough checking of the vehicle, 75 soap cases containing suspected brown sugar weighing more than 2.75 kg were found concealed inside.
The items were seized and the driver along with the occupant were arrested. The arrested persons were identified as M Ngaiyu Vekhe and A. Dahnii Abraham, both from Senapati district.
