Arunachal Guv honours Kargil veteran Karn Singh

Itanagar, Sept 24 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik presented the Governor’s Citation to Subedar and Honorary Lieutenant Karn Singh, a veteran of the Kargil War and soldier of the Rajputana Rifles, here on Thursday.
Karn Singh is at present the House Comptroller, Lok Bhavan here. The citation was presented at a function held at Vivekananda Hall, Lok Bhavan, in recognition of his distinguished military service and exemplary contribution to the efficient management of Lok Bhavan.
Congratulating him, the Governor said Karn Singh embodies the values of dedication, discipline, integrity and selfless service that define the finest traditions of the Indian Armed Forces. Singh has served the nation in challenging operational environments with courage and commitment, he said.
