RJD- Congress envious of wave of development in Bihar: Vijay

Patna, June 20 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged on Friday that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-Congress was feeling jealous with the continuous development of the state.
Describing the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Siwan as a symbol of 'public trust in development', Sinha said, despite the weather not being very favourable, the presence of such a large number of people shows their confidence in Modi's leadership.
Sinha said by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth thousands of crores of rupees from Siwan, the Prime Minister has once again proved that he has a special affinity towards Bihar.
The Deputy Chief Minister said Bihar, which once was a symbol of migration, has emerged as a symbol of progress follow8ng the efforts of the double engine government led by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.
In the last decade, about 4.75 crore people of the state have been freed from poverty. During this period, 1.5 crore people got electricity coverage and the same number of people got water connection. More than 57 lakh people were provided with concrete houses under the efforts of the double engine government.
Sinha said the Congress-RJD people were upset with the continuous progress of Bihar. The people who run the party and administration like a "family private limited company" cannot tolerate the growing and changing Bihar, he alleged, saying that in view of their imminent defeat, they were engaged in unbridled rhetoric and Twitter activism.
