Congress demands special session of Bihar Assembly to discuss law and order after death of rape victim

Patna, June 4 (UNI) Congress on Wednesday demanded Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan
to use his authority under article 175 of the constitution for convening a special session of state assembly to discuss law and order situation after death of a minor dalit girl after her rape due to negligence and delay in treatment.
A delegation of Congress leaders led by Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Rajesh Ram called on Governor Khan and handed over a memorandum to him seeking his intervention to prevail on Nitish Kumar government for providing justice to family members of rape victim.
