Naveen targets Odisha government, says farmers, women, poor suffer under double-engine rule

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (UNI) Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the BJP government in Odisha, alleging that farmers, women, the elderly, poor and middle-class people were suffering under the double-engine government, while the future of Generation Z remained uncertain.
Addressing a public outreach padayatra organised by the BJD in the Bhubaneswar Central Assembly constituency, Patnaik alleged that the government had failed to address people's problems despite rising prices of essential commodities.
“Development was the main agenda of the BJD government. But under the present double-engine government, the development of the ruling party has become the main agenda,” he said, taking a swipe at the BJP government.
