Bengal CM Challenges Abhishek to Contest from Diamond Harbour in 2029, Tells Mamata to Move to Delhi

Kolkata, Oct 30 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday renewed his attack on Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, challenging him to contest the 2029 Lok Sabha election from Diamond Harbour and vowing to defeat him by a margin higher than his 2024 victory.
He also advised former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to shift her political activities to Delhi, saying she had no future in West Bengal.
Addressing a public meeting at New India Maidan in Baruipur in South 24 Parganas, Adhikari said he would ensure that Abhishek lost his electoral security deposit in Diamond Harbour. "You should contest the 2029 election. I will defeat you by at least one vote more than the margin by which you won last time. Even if you get the CPI(M)'s votes, it will make no difference," he declared.
