Odisha to roll out Women’s Economic Empowerment Framework across all 30 districts

Bhubaneswar, Oct 16 (UNI) Odisha will roll out a Women’s Economic Empowerment Framework across all 30 districts, with district-specific targets and data-driven monitoring to track women’s workforce participation, earnings, entrepreneurship and economic independence, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said on Friday.
Chairing a review meeting on the state’s Women and Child Development goals, Parida said the government would also organise a state-level summit to deliberate on four key thematic areas, strengthen interdepartmental coordination and accelerate the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of women and children.
The meeting reviewed measures to translate key action points emerging from a national-level summit into measurable outcomes through time-bound interventions, effective monitoring and stronger implementation mechanisms.
