Teaser of ZEE 5's new original web series 'Chhal Kapat: The Deception' out

Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) ZEE 5 has released the tantalising teaser of its upcoming original webseries, "Chhal Kapat: The Deception", set to premiere this June.
Directed by Ajay Bhuyan and bankrolled produced by Juggernaut Productions, the series promises a riveting cocktail of suspense, secrets and betrayal.
Leading the cast is the versatile Shriya Pilgaonkar, supported by an eclectic ensemble including Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das, Yahweh Sharma, Pranay Pachauri, Smran Sahu and Anuj Sachdeva.
The narrative is set against the seemingly idyllic backdrop of Burhanpur, where an intimate wedding celebration takes an ominous turn. The story takes a dark turn when one of the bride's closest confidante's is discovered dead under mysterious circumstances. The festivities take a sinister turn, morphing into psychological thriller riddled with long-buried secrets, unresolved resentments and veiled betrayals among lifelong friends.
At the heart of the investigation is Inspector Devika played by Shreya Pilgaonkar, a sharp and intuitive haunted by her own past. As buried truths come to light, relationships are tested and the fragile boundaries between trust and treachery begin to erode.
