Mumbai, Jan 15 (UNI) Director Aditya Sarpotdar after bagging a supernova with 2024 horror-comedy "Munjya" is embarking on his next quest with the series titled "The Secret of the Shiledars".
The spine-tingling historical-adventure thriller featuring Rajeev Khandelwal and Sai Tamhankar in prominent roles will stream all episodes on Disney + Hotstar starting January 31.
The 52-second teaser offers an exhilarating glimpse into the series' premise; Rajeev Khandelwal plays the role of the chief of the Shiledars, a covert group entrusted with the solemn duty of protecting the treasure of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, as reported by Pinkvilla.
Director Aditya Sarpotdar shared a post on his Instagram handle, which read, “Growing up, I was captivated by stories that combined mystery, adventure and discovery.. films like Indiana Jones and books like The Da Vinci Code shaped my imagination. They taught me that beyond action, these tales carry the thrill of uncovering the unknown and the courage to face the unimaginable. With my next show as a Creator and Director, I aim to channel that same spirit of adventure, crafting a journey that’s not just about where you go, but what you find within.”
