New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) An Indian origin man was grievously injured after an Australian policeman knelt on his neck pinning him down to the ground until he became unconscious, bringing back the memories of a similar incident of George Floyd in the US in 2020.
Forty-two-year-old Gaurav Kundli was with his partner when the policeman trying to arrest him, pinned him down to the ground despite Gaurav pleading innocence. He is now on life support system at a hospital with almost no chances of recovery.
Reports said Gaurav was pinned to the ground even as his partner repeatedly said he had done nothing wrong. His neck and brain received serious injuries as the policeman put his knee on his neck.
