Cows sacred in Sanatan, their protection is cultural duty: Delhi CM

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that Cows are considered sacred, embody the consciousness of eternal Sanatan culture, and compassion for them is relevant to overall public welfare.
She said advancing the timeless tradition of cow service and cow protection is a cultural duty.
Gupta, taking to social media platform X on Sunday expressed that she, along with her family visted the Harevli Gaushala, and performed sacred Havan, fed cows, and also reviewed the arrangements made for them at the facility.
