Rajendra Pal Gautam appointed AICC SC department chairman

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday appointed Rajendra Pal Gautam as chairman of the SC department of the All-India Congress Committee (AICC) with immediate effect.
Congress general secretary KC Venugopal in a statement said, "Hon'ble Congress President has appointed Shri Rajendra Pal Gautam as the Chairman of SC Department, AICC with immediate effect".
The party also expressed gratitude to the outgoing Chairman. "The party appreciates the contributions of the outgoing Chairman, Shri Rajesh Lilothia," the statement said.
