Delhi BJP to file complaint with DCW against AAP over alleged indecent graphic poster of CM

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Thursday said that Aam Aadmi Party releasing an objectionable poster showing Chief Minister Rekha Gupta with a basket of liquor bottles, that too on the day of "Karwa Chauth", is a blatant insult to women power of the national capital, and they will never forgive AAP for this.
According to Delhi BJP spokesperson, the poster carries the headline - "Har Har Rekha, Ghar Ghar Theka," with the image of Chief Minister shown carrying a basket full of liquor bottles on her head, and the logo of a reputed news channel has also been placed on it, he claimed.
Kapoor questioned whether showing a woman CM carrying liquor bottles on her head is not an insult to every mother and sister of Delhi? Hitting out at AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Kapoor said he never gave respect to women in his party, and now with such a poster, AAP has tainted "Nari Shakti," Kapoor said.
He said that scheme was not any new scheme of "home delivery of liquor," and is the same failed liquor policy that was brought in by "AAP" during its own government, which was never even promoted.
Now, using that failed policy as a weapon, they are mocking the woman Chief Minister, the BJP leader alleged.
He said that creating a fake graphic by using the logo of a channel is not only misleading, but also an attack on the credibility of the media.
The state unit of the saffron party is going to file a complaint regarding this with the Delhi Commission for Women, as the act was hurtful to the respect of women and an investigation is necessary, Kapoor added.
Delhi BJP spokesperson said that "AAP" should immediately take down this poster and issue a public apology to the women of Delhi.
