India targets key Pak bases, refutes Pak disinformation

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) In a calibrated and swift military response, the Indian armed forces on Saturday carried out precision strikes on select military installations across Pakistan, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said.

Addressing the media, Wing Commander Singh stated that the strikes were "exclusively on identified military targets," including technical infrastructure, command and control centres, radar installations, and weapons storage facilities.

The operations were executed using air-launched precision weapons from fighter aircraft.

The Pakistani military sites targeted included Rafiki, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian.

In addition, radar installations at Masroor and the Sialkot aviation base were struck with high-accuracy munitions.

"Throughout the operation, India ensured that collateral damage was kept to a minimum," the IAF officer added.

Wing Commander Singh also strongly refuted what she described as a “continued and desperate disinformation campaign” launched by Pakistan. “Pakistan is falsely claiming the destruction of Indian S-400 system at Adampur, airfields at Suratgad and Sirsa, the BrahMos base at Nagrota, artillery positions at Behranyari and the forward ammunition depot at Chandigarh,” she said.

“These claims, circulated widely on social media, are entirely baseless. India categorically rejects these false narratives being propagated by Pakistan,” she asserted.

The strikes come amid heightened tensions between the two countries, with India maintaining its stance of defending its sovereignty and security interests while acting with restraint and precision.
