Himachal: 14-month-old girl drowns in Giri river near Dadahu

Nahan, Apr 19 (UNI) A heartbreaking incident occurred near Dadahu in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district, where a 14-month-old girl lost her life after being swept away by the strong current of the Giri river.
According to information received, the child was playing on the riverbank, while her mother had gone there for some household work, on Friday.
In a tragic turn of events, the girl ventured too close to the water and was caught in the strong current, which carried her away before anyone could react.
