Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini holds key talks with Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Oct 28 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday met his Gujarat counterpart Bhupendra Patel here to discuss measures to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the two states.
Saini, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, held one-on-one discussions with Patel at the latter's official residence.
According to an official statement issued in Chandigarh, the meeting focused on improving inter-state coordination, sharing governance experiences, and exploring opportunities for mutual cooperation in various developmental sectors.
Haryana Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present during the talks.
The meeting assumes significance as both states seek to enhance bilateral ties in administrative reform, infrastructure development, and industrial growth.
Officials said the two Chief Ministers emphasised the need for closer collaboration and regular engagement between respective state agencies to ensure effective implementation of development policies.
Saini is scheduled to visit key developmental and industrial projects in Gujarat before returning to Chandigarh on Thursday.
Further details regarding specific agreements or follow-up mechanisms are expected to be finalised by officials of both states in the coming days.
