Haryana Police seize 58 litres of illicit liquor in Hansi, one held under Operation Aakraman

Panchkula, Sept 10 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested a man after allegedly recovering about 58 litres of illicit country-made liquor from his possession in Hansi as part of the ongoing Operation Aakraman, a spokesperson said on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Balwinder, a resident of Pirawali village in Hisar district. Police also seized the motorcycle allegedly being used to transport the liquor.
According to the Haryana Police spokesperson, a CIA-1 Hansi team was conducting patrols and checks near the Barwala bridge on the NH-9 bypass in Hansi when it received specific information that a man was transporting illicit liquor from Pirawali towards Hansi via the Dhani Kutubpur road.
