Haryana: Police seize over 13,000 intoxicant pills, capsules and 5.5 kg poppy husk, five held

Panchkula, Sep 14 (UNI) Haryana Police has intensified its crackdown on illegal drug trafficking in Sirsa, with separate operations by CIA Sirsa and CIA Ellenabad leading to the arrest of five persons and recovery of more than 13,490 intoxicant tablets and capsules, and 5.556 kg of poppy husk, a Haryana Police official said on Monday.
In the first operation, two persons were arrested in the Thehar Mohalla area of Sirsa, with the recovery of 7,200 intoxicant tablets and capsules from their possession, the official said.
The accused were identified as Bablu, a resident of Thehar Mohalla, Sirsa, and Harpreet Singh of Khaja Khera, Sirsa.
