Haryana: Police accused of brutally torturing Dalit woman, victim hospitalised

Kaithal, June 30 (UNI) Cops in Siwan police station of Haryana;s Kaithal district have been accused of beating a woman brutality,
The victim has been admitted to the government hospital in Kaithal by family members in a critical condition with deep bruises visible on her body, especially the genitals.
According to the information, a woman was detained by the police on suspicion of her alleged involvement in a girl's disappearance for several days in Siwan.
The family members of the victim alleged that during interrogation, a police woman and four policemen tortured the woman.
Family members claim that the woman is innocent, yet she was treated inhumanl. They said that there was bleeding from the woman's genitals in the police station. Th
Some people from Siwan and the victim's family reached the DC and SP office and demanded strict action.
The woman's husband Rohtash and nephew Sachin said the police are trying to suppress the case and pressure is being made on them not to pursue it.
Sandeep Saini, Chairperson Representative Siwan, Shaily Munjal, BJP activist, Master Ratiram, former councilor, have demanded that strict legal action be taken against the guilty police personnel. UNI XC SSP
