Police probes complaint of forced conversion in Dausa

Jaipur, June 29 (UNI) The police was investigating a complaint lodged at the Kotwali in Dausa city in connection with alleged attempt of forced conversion in a house today.
Suspicious of forced conversion of three women in a house in a Ganeshpura Road locality of Dausa, some vigilants informed the RSS and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) functionaries.
On reaching the scene, they have also summoned the police. The Circle Officer Ravi Prakash and SHO Kotwali Sudhir Upadhyaya also rushed up the spot.
The police was told that three women were lured for conversion by some missionaries, however, two three organisers present there refuted the charge and held that they gather every Sunday for holding weekly prayer meet which is attended by locals.
A written complaint in this regard was lodged at the Dausa Kotwali police station and it was being investigated, the police added.
