CM Mann urges support for AAP candidate for Ludhiana West by-poll

Ludhiana, June 14 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with AAP Punjab In-charge Manish Sisodia, addressed two massive Jansabhas in Ludhiana West today in support of AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora for the upcoming by-election on June 19.
The leaders highlighted Arora’s "exceptional contributions" and the AAP government’s achievements, urging voters to press the 'Jharoo' button to ensure continued development.
During his address, Sanjeev Arora reflected on his work as an MP, particularly his efforts to improve schools and hospitals.
Manish Sisodia emphasised Sanjeev Arora's "dedication and highlighted his remarkable act of raising Rs 12 crores to secure a life-saving injection for a child with a rare disease". Sisodia stated, “This election is about choosing a leader who will truly serve the people. Sanjeev Arora is not just a candidate; he will represent Ludhiana West as a cabinet minister, ensuring the constituency’s voice is heard at the highest levels.”

Phagwara, June 15 (UNI) The Punjab police have registered a case against an Italy-based Non-Resident Indian (NRI), identified as Tersem Chand, for allegedly defrauding a villager in Kapurthala district under the pretext of facilitating immigration to Italy, an official said on Sunday
The accused, originally from village Jagatpur-Jattan in Punjab, has come under the police radar following a formal complaint by Arun Kumar, a resident of village Kherra near Phagwara.
