HTET-2026 to be held in December, dates expected next week: Haryana Board Chairman

Bhiwani, Oct 29 (UNI) The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET-2026) will be conducted in December this year, with the examination dates expected to be announced within the next week, Haryana Board of School Education Chairman Shankar Lal Dhoopar said.
Dhoopar also clarified that the annual examinations for Classes 10 and 12 would be held as scheduled in March-April, ruling out any change in the examination timeline.
The chairman said the online application process for the Secondary and Senior Secondary annual examinations had begun, and instructions had been issued to school heads regarding submission of examination forms.
Schools have been directed to complete the application process within the prescribed deadline. Forms will not be accepted after the stipulated date; applications submitted by the deadline will be eligible for processing without a late fee, as per the board’s instructions.
Dhoopar stressed that school heads must exercise utmost care while filling in online examination forms and verify all details before submission. They would be held responsible for errors found in the applications, he said.
The board has also made it mandatory to enter the school’s U-DISE code in the online application form. A helpline number has been provided to assist schools with technical difficulties during the registration process.
The board is expected to announce the HTET-2026 schedule next week, allowing candidates to prepare for the December examination.UNI KK AAB
