Recruitment delays pushing Haryana youth towards age limit, says Kumari Selja

Panchkula, Sep 29 (UNI) Sirsa MP, former union Minister and Congress Working Committee member Kumari Selja has questioned the Haryana government over delays in government recruitment, vacant posts and withdrawal of advertised vacancies, saying that educated youth preparing for competitive examinations for years are being forced to wait indefinitely for jobs.
Selja said the government must explain when the thousands of young aspirants awaiting recruitment will actually be employed, and demanded a transparent, time-bound recruitment system to prevent administrative delays from depriving eligible candidates of opportunities.
Referring to figures published in the media, Selja said that over the past 21 months, 55 Class-I and Class-II recruitment processes reportedly involved 6,222 posts, of which only 4,317 were filled, leaving around 31 per cent vacant. She said the government should review recruitment rules and examination procedures wherever sanctioned posts remain vacant despite candidates being available, without compromising eligibility standards.
