Congress alleges irregularities in Pilibhit Sadar voter list, Claims names of 13,150 voters changed

Lucknow, Oc 21 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee has raised the issue of alleged irregularities in the Pilibhit Sadar assembly constituency, leveling serious allegations against the Election Commission regarding the voter list.
The party claimed that the names of 804 voters in the constituency have been removed from the list, while the names of 13,150 voters have allegedly been changed automatically. The Congress said it will expose the alleged conspiracy of the Election Commission to the nation.
State in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam made these allegations at a Congress press conference held in Lucknow on Wednesday. Congress MP Imran Masood, MLA Aradhana Mishra 'Mona', and senior party leader Supriya Shrinate were also present.
Presenting data from the Pilibhit Sadar assembly constituency, Rajendra Pal Gautam alleged irregularities in the voter list.
Congress claims that for 13,150 voters, their EPIC numbers and serial numbers are the same, but their names have been changed. The party has raised questions, calling this a case of voter list discrepancy.
Congress leaders stated that the allegations of changes and omissions from the voter list are serious. The party will raise this issue widely and question the role of the Election Commission.
However, independent confirmation and the Election Commission's stance on these allegations of discrepancies in the voter list by Congress are yet to be received.
